Needing some BB Specs

From Hunter Lemon on 11/11/2020 7:27:32 PM

I was planning to build a 1926-style BB tone ring (eventually), and was wanting to get some specs so I can know what materials to get.

What are the three tonehoops made of?

What are the outer diameters of each of the hoops?

How thick is the wall of the hollow hoop?

What is the height of the rim for a BB?

What is the height of the whole pot assembly?

Thanks!

Should I have any of my ball bearing banjos apart, I will take measurements

Linked by revellfa 8 years ago: 1923 TB-3 conversion. Balls and tone hoop but no springs on this model I'm told.

MP3: Darlin' Cora
Linked by revellfa 8 years ago: Played on a 1923 TB-3 Conversion. No springs on this model, just the tube and balls.
