Hey folks,

I recently bought a mountain banjo. It has been my practice to support a local B&M by purchasing all my extras from them, they do not sell nylon or gut strings, they do have classical guitar strings. Would they work on a fretless mountain banjo?

	Marc Nerenberg says: 1/18/2014 8:58:28 AM Yes. Strings are strings. For quite a few years I used nylon postal chord, and then I used kitchen chord (for trussing up chickens) on my fretless banjo. Even that stuff worked.
