Local Friend and Banjo Player in Serious Motorcycle Accident!

From fiddlin_Al on 3/12/2014 9:14:57 PM

Hello everyone,

A good friend and a great local banjo player, Randall Screws from Eustis, Florida has just been involved in a terrible motorcycle accident and is in the trauma unit. He is in critical condition. Please take a moment and say a prayer for him, he desperately needs some divine intervention.

Thanks, Everyone.

Al

From Randall's mom, Linda Screws...

Update on Randall. We had a good day. Took some baby steps forward. He will probably get his trachea tomorrow if he has a good night and he stays the same. on his ventilator numbers they will do it. He was moving a little to as they have cut back on the meds. Still not conscious but the nurse said that he was trying to open his eyes just a bit but I didn't see it. Maybe soon. Please as you read this update on Randall say a prayer for him that God may heal him and keep hi...m strong as we have a long way to go. Randy and I are holding each other up and praying for his recovery. As he goes through that trachea procedure say an extra pray that all goes well and we can take another little step. Our family would like to thank all of our friends and family for the prayers and support. Love you all. May God keep us strong and continue his gracious work. Amen. . Good night to all.

From Randall's Mom, Linda....

Update on Randall. Day 19. Our God is awesome. It is hard to put our wonderful day in words. First news is he has been off the ventilator now for 9 + hours. They also let him sit for a while in a chair this morning. Also he has followed the command to stick out his tongue. He also looked over at Randy when I said look at dad. We also was told he will be moving to the next level which is called step down.he also has no more IV drips. He has a pick line for his medicine. Prayers are truly answered. He is getting another Cat scan tomorrow for follow up. Pray that is good. May God heal him and give him strength to continue down the road to recovery. Thank you God for all our blessing. Yes we have been so blessed. AMEN. Say a prayer after you read this update. Love all of you. Good night.

Awesome indeed ! I am not a religious person, but it is impossible to not feel the connection between us all when you know someone is suffering like this. Call it prayer or not, but I have nothing but positive vibes for Randy.
