Hello everyone,

Thought I might join up with you guys. My name's Ed, but most of my friends call me Gerber (don't ask me why...) I've just started taking lessons with Al, and I feel fortunate to have found someone reasonably close to where I live that had such great recommendations and a Hangout Group.

I'm a complete newb to the banjo and I'm working on Cripple Creek for my next class, I've found the Banjo Hangout to be an excellent resource and something to do (banjo-wise) when I'm away from my banjo. I'm looking forward to following everyone in the group and making progress with Al.

You are doing good to start out with a teacher from the jump. And Al won't lead you wrong, you'll see. Amazing how many people can't play Cripple Creek. We all started on that one. keep in touch.
