Decided to finally get my fingers to cooperate playing Foggy Mountain Special, at least the intro. So I am beating them into submission lol. Been working in it for months, yes months to no avail. Finally, yesterday I cranked up band in a box and slowed the damn thing down to 30 beats a minute and looped it for about an hour. If nothing else, I got the damn thing memorized.
Today at lunch, I played the recording of the intro on a loop on Amazing Slow Downer on my iPad at 40% speed for an hour and played along. My fingers on my left hand are actually numb. I WILL GET THIS SONG OR WEAR MY FINGERS TO NUBS TRYING! Of course I will probably be so sick of it I will probably take up crocheting.
