Theme Time - some mistakes.

	daytripper says: 5/1/2013 1:40:13 AM I've been at it for 4.5 years with no stringed instrument experience; been having lessons from Al for about 2 years (after my local teacher moved away). I practice when I can, depending on whether my g'friend is in town. Try to put in an hour of pootling each day. I can pick tunes fast enough but my theory and scales are appalling.
	mcaple says: 5/6/2013 9:20:04 PM Understand the girlfriend bit. Have used a Mike's mute and they are brilliant. Girlfriend much happier. Am thinking of getting a tranjo for the times when I am away from home and also they give the silent practice option with headphones. Not sure if anyone has tried that option? I too had no musical knowledge and so I looked around. This guy just makes theory sound pretty easy rickmckeon.com/banjolessons.html
