I went to Osaka this past week to visit my in-laws, and missed my weekly lesson with Al. He gave me "Don't Give Your Heart to a Rambler", and I'm trying to get it down. I did take my Tranjo with me on the trip, which was a great diversion in the mornings and evenings in the hotel room. My wife actually enjoyed being serenaded as she applied her makeup in the morning. As I said, I took the Tranjo, but didn't take the tab for the new song. Doh!!!!

	loukiii says: 4/12/2013 4:16:20 AM I have been known to take a picture of the tab if it is on paper with my iPad and use that if I'm wanting to practice on my truck at work. You.can also email Al's jpg file to yourself and then you can practice anywhere there is a computer by opening the attachment in your email. You can also upload it to google docs and access it from any computer with Internet access. An extra week to work on a song can be a good thing once in awhile, and you can also use it to go over some of the earlier songs to tune them up as we tend to forget some notes here and there or hav similar songs morph together like "Your Love is Like a Blue Ridge Cabin in the Carolines"
	MoPac fan says: 4/12/2013 4:47:01 AM Not necessarily BAS, but I wish I had another banjo I could leave here at work. I have an hour for lunch and it only takes me a couple of minutes to scarf a sandwich. I used to bring my banjo with me and go over to the park and practice, but it's too much hassle to pack up my banjo in the morning, and Annie (who comes to work with me) and my lunch. Then I can't leave my banjo in my truck because it gets way to hot. I think I'll just win that Bishline and be done with it. How do like the Tranjo?
	MiG-19 says: 4/13/2013 7:34:57 PM Randy, Louis, The Tranjo is great! Never a question of fitting into the overhead bin. Sounds faithful enough to a real banjo to be a great practice instrument. Louis, good advice. I will do that next time.
