Wow! 32 members. Welcome to all new members. Not much chatter lately. I've had company. My mom came from Little Rock to visit and spend Easter with us. I was happy to see her but she cuts in to my banjo practice time. I had a lesson yesterday with Al and of course I wasn't prepared. I went anyway and had a great lesson. Al and I talked about Foggy Mountain Special. I'll try to get a video up now that mom has left.

	loukiii says: 4/9/2013 2:50:57 PM My lesson was about learning the notes on the fretboard. I was given the just the melody to a song and told to learn to play it while saying the note I was playing. Then when I can to that I was told to flesh it out with rolls and stuff and given a video to use as an example. No Tab... No sweat.

	MoPac fan says: 4/9/2013 6:52:29 PM Hahaha. My wife, my dog and now my mother knows not to get in between me and my banjo. Seriously. My little dog Annie is jealous of my banjo. I start to play and she comes and insists that I hold her instead of my banjo. It reminds me of the old Flatt Scruggs song talking about, "Pearl, Pearl, Pearl, you'll get no love from Earl. This here man is such a sap, He won't hold you on his lap, Unless you are an old 5-string banjo."
