	briln says: 3/19/2013 5:26:14 PM This is the third year that I have attended. It is consistently terrific. Ken Perlman is a stickler for details and high standards. I took 2 classes with Tony Trischka (Playing the Syllables and Improvisational Techniques), one with Bill Evans (Scruggs Licks), Roll Logic with Alan Munde, How to learn simple songs by ear with Paul Brown, Learning from the Fiddler with Cathy Fink, and 30 G to C Links and 25 great endings with Gerald Jones. Lots of great tips and a good chance to chat with all these great musicians. They were all consistently great and also a great compliment and not a replacement for Al. Each day they had terrific faculty concerts and Jamming after until 10:30 andy beyond. Each class has objectives handouts and most you play examples or work through ideas with the banjo. Very inspiring highly recommended, but different from but completely consistent with Al. Everyone if very friendly and I see some people every year and we just pick up where we left off. Lots of fun and a VERY full schedule.
