I just wanted to pop in and say hello. I have been taking lessons with Al for a little under a year now. It’s been much less than that if you count the time I have had to take off for work and such. It’s been very enjoyable and I am still amazed at the things Al catches me doing that are wrong. I am currently taking lessons via skype as I am living in Belgium. It’s great that we have this as a viable option otherwise I would be out of luck as the Banjo is not a very common thing in Belgium.

	MiG-19 says: 3/2/2013 3:02:49 PM Verbel, welcome! Skype is on of the things that makes Al's lessons such a wonderful thing. I'm in Japan and take my lessons with Al at 6:00 a.m. my time, which is 4:00 p.m. the day prior Al's time. When the States switch over to Daylight Savings Time, my lesson goes to 5:00 a.m. as we don't have Daylight Savings Time here. What time is your lesson?
verbel says: 3/6/2013 1:51:08 AM I think my wife would kill me if I was playing at 5 or 6 am. I am pretty luck as we are only 7 hours ahead so I play at 2000. Before too long I will be in the states in the same time zone as Al so we will have to see about times then.
