Welcome Aboard!

From MiG-19 on 2/20/2013 1:11:59 AM

Welcome one and all!  OldCrowMedicineShow, I LOVE Malaga!!  One of my favorite ports to visit from my days with the US Marines.  Craig is from Lexington, my hometown and where I am currently having a house restored.  Eric, I have really enjoyed your videos and hope to see some of them here.  How are things in PA?

Hi there gang. Love the profile photo. Is that Al on a rough day? And does he approve of the pic? Ha ha!

When were you in Malaga Jay? I bet you also must have stopped in Gibraltar once or twice?

I'm going to steel myself for a first video posting. May take me a day or two...

Cheers to all from Spain!

Simon

Simon, I was last there in the mid 80's. I'm sure it's changed quite a bit since my day. Looking forward to the video!

Just happen to see there is a group for Al´s students, why not. Just had my first lesson for this season last night. Did take around 10 lessons last winter and am amazed how quick he could teach me the stuff I have been trying by myself. I did learn some pickin´back in the early 80´s, went to San Diego and bought a Stelling from Goeff Stelling himself. Then a didn´t play for almost 25 years and last winter a told myself; You better give that nice 5-string a chance before you getting too old.
So, last winter I found this marvelous BHO and Fiddlin´Al. I discovered SKYPE and think it´s 10 times better than Facebook and many other crazy things on the web. Maybe we can have a jam session some day together with Al over SKYPE ! Great to read your stories.
If you visit Europe, stop by Sweden and say hello.

Hi Lasse, long time no speak!

Hope all is well in Sweden. Here in Spain it was like summer last week. This week, just wind and rain!
