i have a 1908 Fairbanks wl 7. its neck was in poor shape and it had at some point in its life, been painted with a sunburst finish. I`m left handed anyway so that wasnt a problem as i bought it for the 10 3/4 pot and have since had a repro left handed neck made. The original neck is still around if i ever had to sell, but that isnt going to happen.
