I had the pip(5th string) nut replace with bone, and that stopped it. I also replaced the nut with bone. And a strange happened, I lost some of my low end, but overall tone is much better and I have way more volume.

So, I thought about loosening the head to regain some of my low end. What do you guys think of that idea?

	MightyMOBanjo says: 7/27/2013 6:34:09 AM Maybe, I should start another search for strings again. I am using GHS Almost Medium, maybe Mediums will give me the sound I want.
	Vapor says: 8/12/2013 11:00:08 AM Bone for nuts varies in hardness and can impact the sound. Maybe try another nut.
