55 yo... Learned to play guitar as a kid. My father was born in Harlan County and I grew up listening to and (trying) playing Carter Family, Johnny Cash, Ramblin' Jack, Woody Guithrie, John Prine... My father played the old claw hammer style banjo and I accompanied him on guitar. He passed 12 years ago, RIP, and my Martin will be in the shop for 4 months and in the interim I am trying to learn to play his nice Epiphone Gibson banjo.
