I picked up my first Deering yesterday. I bought a 2003 Deering Maple Blossom from my banjo teacher, he gave me a great price I could'nt pass up. I love the Maple Blossom, I played one last spring and just had to have one. I'm going to take it in and get it set up, shined up, new head and bridge. It sounds great but needs a good cleaning and I want to make my own finger clear spot on the head. Its in great shape I would rate it excellent condition but well played and cared for. It has been sitting in a closet in its case for the last 5 years. I put a new Deering cradle strap on it last night.
