Has anyone out there experienced playing a (I assume) Tenbrooks 'Jens Kruger' model with the pronounced 'V'-shaped neck that he advocates? I believe this deeper shape is also standard on Frank Neat necks (for anyone who has an Osborne 'Chief') and Deering may fit this neck to other models, though I'm not aware of it.

I'd be interested if it really does make your thumb placement easier, or more accurate, or whether there are any other aspects of playability for those not blessed with long, spindly fingers.

	Vapor says: 8/4/2014 6:43:18 PM Everyone has a different hand and different fingers. You need to try one to know if it is right for your hand and playing style.
	camlan says: 8/4/2014 7:27:19 PM I believe it suits people who place their thumb's first joint or 'pad' close to the middle of the back of the neck. One take on it is that you can find and stay on the point of the 'v' better as opposed to standard Deering flatter neck which feels more uniform or vague. I have small hands and find the standard Deering neck to be the best out there. My thumb does not get lost ;)
