Sierra Maple - Perfectly Pleased

I took shipment yesterday of my new maple Sierra and absolutely love it. From the fit and finish it's a beautiful banjo. It was set up pretty good but I'll begin to tweak it a little for my personal taste. I'm going to enjoy playing this for a long time.

Only question I have is whether or not I should go with medium strings. These are light and I've always played with heavier strings. I do not want to muddle the tone because it sounds good. I'm just used to more bass on the low end. Any other Sierra pickers use mediums with good bass without sacrificing the tone? I'll put some on and tinker since I have several sets around but was just wondering what others have to say.

TanglyStrings says: 3/9/2014 3:46:47 AM My Sierra had light strings to start with but I switched to medium, and have used medium now for a couple of years. Wouldn't go back to the lights. The mediums make the banjo sound even better!
