I'm selling my Deering Sierra and I'm looking for advice on shipping. I'm planning to use UPS and ship from Colorado to California. I found a web page that offers tips on packing the banjo for shipping that looked good.
My question is: Should I remove the strap and put that in the box outside the Deering Case? Or should I leave it attached to the banjo? It does offer a buffer in the case, makes it nice and snug when I carry it around, but I think it will limit the packing material that I can fit around the resonator and pot.
Grateful for any advice!
