Picked up a serious banjo today. Love the sound! Hope I do it justice

	joeallen says: 1/13/2014 6:53:43 PM yea Geoff, I was getting kind of lyrical there, but this banjo is sweet- easy to play and fun to work. I played a Stelling Sunflower that was explosive, but out of my range. the eagle I can learn with.

	joeallen says: 1/21/2014 1:21:54 PM I learned a bit while learning on an old Kay. After 3 weeks on the eagle, I go back to the Kay and I play it better than I ever could. learning is easier on the Eagle. Believe me, I have to justify this purchase! And yes, having fun is the ultimate justification
	ildertongap says: 1/21/2014 1:54:58 PM I agree with Joe, it is actually easier to play the better quality banjos. I noticed a significant difference between my goodtime special and the vega senator. I can't wait to get my hands on an eagle-II. So I would say that as soon as the opportunity presents itself, go for it. Fortune favours the brave!!

	ildertongap says: 1/22/2014 6:53:30 PM I am saying that I find it easier to play on the Senator than on the Goodtime. I believe that the Eagle would probably play easier than the Goodtime. As soon as I get the cash ready, I hope to acquire an eagle-II. It is a pretty subjective decision as to when to upgrade, why not make a trip to a music store and give an Eagle a really good test drive? That would give you a good idea as to the benefits of upgrading.
