I'm having an Eagle II delivered in a couple of days.

It's a resonator version. I will be playing Claw hammer style with the resonator attached. My question is; what type of adjustments should I make to make it more compatible with the claw hammer style?

Should I use a 11/16th bridge?

Should the strings be higher?

Should I use the same type of strings?

Later I might take the resonator off, but first I want to see how it sounds with it attached.....

	Tatersoup says: 3/31/2013 4:42:23 PM Personally, I'd leave it alone until I got a good feel for the banjo. Both my Deerings were set up well when I got them. I think your best course of action is to simply play it until your arms fall off....

	Tatersoup says: 4/1/2013 2:57:07 AM I don't think there's a problem with it, but I'd be reluctant to poke holes in a brand new banjo. I've been playing maybe 2 years and have never found the need for spikes. I can't speak to your style of playing though. Enjoy your new banjo!!!
	japus says: 4/1/2013 4:38:25 AM I put spikes 4 spikes on mine, only really use the 7th. I use others just mainly when doodling. If I would do it again, just the 7th would have one
	Dontay says: 4/1/2013 9:55:15 AM The band I play in uses capo on 4 of the frets, so now that I know it's safe, I'll have them aded later on.
