Hi Guys,
I have been inactive for a while. But I thought I'd get back into things. I went to one of my local music shops here in Brisbane, where I have purchased strings before, to find that they did not have the brand I wanted, in fact had no 5 string bluegrass banjo strings at all!
"We haven't been stocking lot of strings for folk instruments," said the young man behind the counter. Folk instruments?!? How insulting.
I eventually found a set of D'Addario mediums at the store down the road. They stock them all the time, so that's good to know!
My Deering Sierra now has new strings and is sounding sweet as ever!
