Owners of Terry Baucom signature banjo invited to give their experiences and setup parameters. I got head tension fairly tight ( A) ,strings are GHS PF140 JDCrow, 0.656 bridge ( Beaver ) , tailpiece still kept Deerings; think to swich to Price old one (1983) . Any thoughts on volume and pop improvement high up the neck ? Thanx in advance.

	Vapor says: 2/25/2012 8:38:14 PM I have a Golden Wreath, and I cannot imagine what could make my banjo any better. I am not messing with perfection. I did the basic setup, and Scruggs Signature Med strings. Absolutely perfect. I could not ask for more.
	camlan says: 1/3/2014 12:34:02 PM I am told that lighter strings can improve clarity up the neck. Baucom comes with heavier strings. Also, make sure the action is not too low. And lastly, playing away from bridge as you move up neck is a common way to max high fret volume as I have found. I am buying a Baucom this weekend and I am putting on a regular spacing Snuffy Smith Bridge... I think I will switch string to one size lighter as well.
