I recently purchased a new Golden Wreath. I played several as I traveled and both the Golden Wreath and the Golden Era played and sounded incredible, but this one moved me and was worth the trip to play it before buying her.
I recently played her at a dance, before the DJ started, and when he fired up his audio, it was deafening, but I could still play and the guitar players could hear me fine. No amp on her either.
I am impressed with the sound, ease of playing, and incredible looks. The neck wood is gorgeous, the inlays are just as nice and I find myself looking at her when not playing, which is seldom, because I play for several hours a day now.
My other banjos are very good, but this one is really special.
