Just got a brand spanking new Goodtime Special delivered by the brown truck yesterday. Spent the afternoon tinkering and playing and fooling around with it. Think it's gonna be a keeper. Hate to part with my regular Goodtime. It's been a great learning and giging instrument but promised I would not get BAS so gotta keep the peace in the family. Hope I find time to play the new one and get it settled in before my next gig.

	Grumpy1 says: 5/21/2011 5:41:10 PM Hi Erik: I sold it to help pay for the Special and because I have a space problem. It was gone in 5 hours after posting it locally. I am missing it now because I set it up for frailing style playing so I had both venues easily available. I know I'll get another down the road. The special has a steel tone ring that Deering has made just for them, according to their sales lit. It really does sound good and adds a bunch of volume. I had the guy I sold my other one to play it for me and was really surprised. Have a safe trip and an enjoyable time with your new Goodtime.
