Hey there All .
Gumbys , hmm ??. I seem to have an affinity for them . I can't remember what year i bought my first one , but it is my go to for claw hammer ! So I spotted a Deering bag at my favorite family owned music store ( been dealing with them for 25 years ) while getting and old fiddle set up for the grandson . So I said to the owner " there's a Gumby in that bag " . He laughs and sure enough pulls out a Gumby , scoop neck with a metal tone ring ( goodtime special ? ) that an elderly gents family brought in to sell . Poor fella loved that banjo and I'm told he ordered it special the way it sat . Well long story short I have first refusal on it , I just feel it needs someone who will appreciate it as much as he did . Don't even know how much it's going to set me back , really don't care , this thing just sounds so good . I also play an Orange Blossom 250 , Mandolin , and several guitars , six and 12 string . Thanks for the add to the group !
