Our friend and fellow group member John Balch made a couple of statements that put me on the right track, so today I am looking for a "small" TV to use as a monitor while filming myself in a video...

We are very lucky to have John in our group because he is what I call an expert...If you spend some time listening to his mp3's and videos you will agree I am sure...

John, feel free to correct me any time you see the need...I have played the banjo for more than 40 years but Claw-hammer / Old-time is pretty new to me...

Here is the best example I can think of...I taught myself by learning to frail and if I would have had any sense, I would have incorporated dropped thumb at the very beginning...I would have been much farther along....Live & learn...

I have had three Dr's appointments in the last three day including a Chemical stress test yesterday that took 4 hrs...So after finding a TV today (Goodwill or Salvation army) I will try to get started...If I don't get it done today then tomorrow because I have the whole day free....

Donna & I are playing tonight at one of the local open mic's "The Cornbread Palace" so don't give up on me...I am trying to eat everything on my plate, but my plate is looking like a #2 washtub...

	ronwalker49 says: 11/16/2012 8:23:57 AM Well I found a nice 13" tv with a dvd player at a thrift shop for 5 bucks and got done early...But as I was getting ready to record I got a call from the heart Dr. and they want me there in an hour....Must have gotten bad results on my chemical stress test yesterday...Hmm, I've been doing this for a long time and it doesn't sound good...Probably a Hart Cath and a couple of stints, at least I hope it is no worse than that....I'll post as soon as I find something out...

	ronwalker49 says: 11/17/2012 3:24:14 AM I have to go back in the hospital for another Heart Cath, but they are going to let me wait until after thanksgiving..He said I have more abnormalities...I'll just have to wait and see...He's a good Dr. and cares about my well-being...My health has actually improved considerably because in 2004 he told me my chances of living 5 yrs were dismal...
