First let me say that I bought Marks video last year and learning his style is no easy task...I will probably never get it just right...

I have started on my new "claw-grass banjo and am almost ready to finish the neck...It is adjusted, frets leveled (but not crowned yet)..I was going to install a 20 hole flathead ring but made a bad boo-boo on the rim and had to cut it down and make a new row of blocks to bring it back up to the right size...It might be a while because I am getting tired of working on instruments...

I have set up my movie camera and plan to do a video soon on how to play Little Sadie..The tuning is drop C with the first string raised a half step with a clamp in the 4th fret....I think this is Em but I am not sure..

I still have not learned to do the Scrugg's type rolls but I am working on them...

Now to get a recording of Little Sadie that won't embarrass me...

	ronwalker49 says: 11/17/2012 10:14:13 AM I am starting to get used to the fingernails now...They were too thick and long at first but I took them down on my sanding station and now they are just about right...Still working on learning to use them individually with some success...No success yet with the rolls... I am determined to learn it all at once instead of a piece at a time...We'll see how it goes...I've been watching the video for a year now and am starting to understand some what....
