Marble Falls and Others

From Jeff Osborne on 10/20/2013 5:06:41 PM

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to invite all you Chuck Lee fans to have a look at a recent video I  uploaded. I'm playing my Marble Falls, which, is my favorite CL model. Here is a link:

I was thinking about selling my Lone Star Deluxe, so I made a demo video. I have shelved that idea for now. But here is a link to that video if you want to watch it.

And lastly my Glen Rose, such a beautiful instrument. My only issue was a slight buzzing on fourth string at the 5th to 7th fret. I repositioned the neck a little and used a 11/16" moon bridge. Now I hardly notice it.   Here's a sample of the way she sounds.

I thought that since I joined this group, why not contribute something.

Thank you for your time

All the Best,  Jeff

Thanks for posting - not too many recently. I enjoyed your playing. I also have a Marble Falls which is a beauty. It's a short scale which I like to tune to G or C, rather than A or D since I prefer lower tunings; but I like the short scale. I'm having the action lowered a bit through nut adjustment to minimize going sharp on fretting. Anyone else with this situation? I'm also considering going to heavier strings.

Hi All, Just to follow up. Chuck contacted me very quickly after I posted the problem with the Glen Rose. He offered his services to fix it or talked me through a set up. What a guy. I've said before and I say it again that my "bucket list" includes a trip to Ovilla just to shake his hand.

Mighty fine, Jeff, mighty fine. Good, solid playing with clear note articulation and excellent cluck. Very much like the tempo you chose, too.
Best,
Jim E.
