Thought I would drop by and introduce myself, or more importantly, my Chuck Lee.
Serial No. 042, purchased in the UK second hand. No clue how it got to the UK, or original owner details, but its still pristine and fabulous. 12" Tony Pass rim which I believe is birch, with a wood tone rim. Nice deep pot, at 3 1/2 ".
It has lovely tone and volume.
When I got it, it had a 5/8" moon bridge, which made the action too high for my liking with the neck adjusted as far as possible to reduce action height. To overcome this I've fitted a 1/2" Silvio Ferretti bridge and a new 5th string nut, shorter than the one it came with, as I like a low 5th.
I'm interested to find out as much about this Chuck Lee as I can and see what the origins are.
