I have researched and purchased a beautiful Chuck Lee Rose Hill Whyte Laydie banjo. It was made for a player in the northern Midwest and he aged and had difficulty playing. I purchased it through consignment and it's truly a dream instrument for me. I'm a Texan and recall Chuck Lee being in Texas Monthly as one of our true gems as a craftsman/luthier. I recently decided to purchase one and looked at several before finding this gem and buying it. I play it every single day and travel with it. I'm a hobby player with no professional aspirations at all. I love the bright tone and the clear sound and the beauty of the instrument. I'm so proud to have it.
