gI own a 5 string Buckbee that I got at an antique store years ago. It's intact but needs a head, tailpiece, tuners and string. I've examined it enough to have an idea what it's basic construction looks like.

So I saw a banjo on eBay that had the same appearance,including the unique heel. But it was a 6 string, the peghead resembles that of a classical guitar. I googled Buckbee 6 string and there were some photos, including one that looked just like the one on eBay. So I ended up bidding against some other parties but won the bid. Have any of you seen one or know anything about a Buckbee like this? Thanks, leslie

	Leslie R says: 7/26/2014 4:49:43 PM I have not yet received the banjo, but it was shipped on Thursday. I started a topic about this banjo in the Collectors section. Someone did post a photo, from an old Bruno catalogue, of a Buckbee made 6 string banjo. That is a photo of the type of banjo this is. I will see if I can obtain more photos, by doing a Google image search. It should be here this coming week. Please forgive the lateness of my reply, I just now saw this. Somehow I overlooked your question. Thanks for asking. Leslie
	Leslie R says: 9/16/2014 4:51:09 PM As soon as I got it, I sent it to a well known, respected luthier, for a couple of minor issues. It was supposed to take about a week, not including shipping of course. It's going on 2 months now. I've been more than a little patient. That is now growing thin.
