Not long ago I bought a banjo with the "double-teardrop" peghead that I associate with Buckbee and with an all-metal pot. I assumed the pot was tacked on by someone who had an orphaned neck. I set it up, and it will make a good-sounding, playable student or beater banjo for someone. I bought a few banjos on Wednesday and, lo and behold, one of them is the (rusty and kinda decrepit) twin of the original banjo with the metal pot.
