My head split. Does anyone here know of a place to get odd sized heads? I measure 9-11/16" diameter on the pot. Does that mean a 10" head will work?

	Andyrhydycreuau says: 7/9/2019 8:32:29 PM Hi @jcarey, Measure the pot right across to the outside edges in 3 or 4 places and work out the average. That gives you the size to order. Old pots are often not round. It needs to be tight, so a 10" may not be ok on your 9" 11/16ths pot. But here's the thing, fitting a skin head isn't all that hard, and it's cheaper and will easy to make at the right size. Here is an easy method andybanjo.com/help_topic.shtml?show_id=31 and I've just done one for an antique fretless I'm selling. I heard you could stain vellum with coffee for an antique look. I'm not trying to sell this internationally, just wanted to show you the colour. Also, if you don't have a flesh ring you can use the metal part of your plastic head, just cut it off. Good luck!!
