this is a real nice banjo in feel, tone, playability.

probably the most pleasant banjo to my ears-but i really like the A flat scale length. have thought i might buy another A flat scale and swap the necks out.

also given thought to removingt the frets 1-7 and make a brass plate turning this into a semi fretless. that idea impresses me more currently than anything else.

somebody push me off the ledge or pull me back-feeling odd about selling it(never had that sort of feeling before).

It sounds like you really like it and as you know once Bart retires the supply will dry up and those being sold will probably do so at a premium price. BTW, I recently noticed that the retail price has gone up $100 on the Galax since I purchased mine approx. 2 months ago from Elderly. A wise friend once told me that "banjos need love" and it is obvious that you love your Galax! Keep it!!
