frets are in fine condition, on a scale of 1-10 this would rate easily 9 or 9+ overall.
tone and playability are very fine. one of the nicer sounding open backs i've owned-i am selling only because i like the shorter scales and lighter weight of the A flat that Reiter makes(just picked one up). i love the whyte laydie tone ring in this Galax. it has a clean, clear ring with no extra aftertones with my playing style. i think the Fiberskyn really works nice with this tone ring.
comes with twead TKL arch top hardcase, 6 latches. case shows some use but still very good condition, very clean, no oder, nonsmoking environment.
(back stap of cloth that holds case lid at a 90 degree angle is gone-some of use remove these to keep the lid from closing upon getting the banjo out or putting it it. the case lid lays open flat back for ease of use.)
