I now have my BUC... and was wondering where other players strum? Near the neck? Middle of head? So far, I play just off the fret board, about a 1/2" on to the head area... kind of the same spot I use when I clawhammer on my Tradesman.

Any help??

	cb56 says: 7/18/2014 1:05:01 PM That's about the same as I do. That's pretty much normal uke strumming territory IMO. One thing you might want to experiment with is try it open back and with resonator on. Try a rag between the coodinator rod and head (in various spots) and maybe a banjo mute or felt between the strings below the bridge. These are all just SUGGESTIONS to try separately or together to get the tone the way you want it.
