I have been trying to teach our 2 oldest grandsons aged 6 and 19 some ukelele basics for the last year with some success but after trying out my Gold Tone Little Gem banjo uke a couple of times the 6 yr old announced he would like abanjo for Christmas. No problems as far as we are concerned but I would like advice as to what. My thoughts are to go for a soprano or concert banjo ukulele rather than a full blown tenor or 5 string banjo what do others think ? He does have a start having tried soprano for about a year and is keen. Our budget is a little restricted, I would like to upgrade to a tenor sized banjo uke for myself and there his 2 brothers to consider as well.
HELP PLEASE Santa wants to know !
