So far this season there have been some weekends that were great to balloon. Then not enough crew to round up and go. This season has also seen winds and storms that blew out other weekends.

Yesterday was a great ballooning day. I had friends that have been part of my crew since I started back in 79 helping. I started by getting current, (3t3l) then took my mother in law up. I earned BIG points with my wife for that.

Winds were light. Max speed was about 4mph. I had 2hrs of flying with an easy retreival.

Next Sat is flying at the Rancho Murieta Airport Airshow.
