I started off as a general aviation pilot with no intention of doing it for a living. But in what amounted to my version of a mid-life crisis I switched careers from biology to flying. After a few twists and turns, I'm in Hyderabad India flying an ATR 72-500 for Jet Airways.....

I'm still a beginning banjo player. Hard to make it happen all by myself I think, but I keep trying. Eventually I'll be back in the States and I hope then I will have plenty of personal contact with other banjo enthusiasts...

what's your story?? :-)

AlexV says: 2/14/2012 4:53:58 AM Flying for a living happened to work out for me back in 2000, which is lucky since I really never considered an alternative. It's taken me all over the world and has been highly rewarding in many ways. Currently flying the -400 Twin Otter in Uganda, but looking to settle down a bit to our house in New Mexico. Not much flying over there though, at least that pays. We'll see...
