Hi all.

I finished my magpie. I think it looks pretty good! I'm almost done finishing the banjo. I have the materials for a matching peg head inlay, but haven't gotten up the guts to start cutting them out.

	Lil Stinkpot says: 1/19/2016 8:53:32 PM Thanks! I used Fabee Castell India ink art pens, see link below, and then colored over that with Prismacolor brush-tipped markers. That became a while adventure right there, because unlike my test piece on tracing paper, apparently on goat skin (this is a real hide head) the markers will lift the India ink right off. On the tail especially it became more of a watercolor project with all the inks floating away. I found my groove, worked with what I had, had some creative fun with it, and then re-did the black outlines and details with the pens when everything settled down and dried out. fabercastell.com/art-and-graph...ck/167099 These markers are amazing!
