Has anyone done one of these? I was given an old neck and pot-rim, and am thinking of making a plywood top, then painting it white with black designs on....

	route66 says: 11/16/2019 11:17:23 AM Why not? I've got a Backyard Music banjo I made from a kit. It's got a thin plywood head. There's pic of it here somewhere. It doesn't sound quite like a traditional banjo, but it is quiet and great for practicing. Have fun with it.
