I tried it at a jam last night and almost pulled it off. What about waltz timing. Is there a demo on your site for a slow waltz, using the 6th intervals, approach?

This is a really interesting lesson and a lot of fun to play along with. I would encourage you all to have a go. It takes a little time to get your head round the left hand fingerings but once you get there it's so simple yet very effective. I hope Ben expands on this, maybe add some roll patterns.

Yes a lot of fun to inject into the weekly jam I attend. It's so nice to finally have a backup technique for slow songs that is tasteful and easy to do.
Our jam group played at our first seniors center on Wednesday. First of many I hope. The leader of our jam complemented me on how 'bluegrassy' my playing was sounding. I've recently learned Ben's version of Nine Pound Hammer(basic) and Big Sciota (basic&intermediate breaks).
