Currently I am running 2009.5. EverythingPAK

Is it worth the $189 to upgrade to the new version?

What were your experiences moving to 2015, 2016 etc?

jcland says: 12/11/2016 4:16:34 AM Andy: I have used BIAB and upgraded each year since 2008. If you use the program on a regular basis as I do, you cannot go wrong with the upgrade to 2017. PG Music now offers you the chance to pay in 4 monthly installments, interest free on your CC. The list of styles are absolutely tremendous. I not only use the many Bluegrass styles, I also use the country, big band, jazz, folk, gypsy jazz and blues since I not just play bluegrass. If the $ is not a problem, you need to take advantage of the end of year offer and go for it. If I were you, I would go the website and spend about 30 min listening all the demo styles you can handle in that time period. That will give you a really good idea on what changes and additions have been added since 2009. Keep in mind that the download for the upgrade is going to be around 90 GB so you might want to go for the USB method. Joe

jcland says: 12/11/2016 6:25:42 AM If you get the EverythingPAK, you should wind up with all the styles that BIAB offers except those offered in the optional 49 PAK and the 2 Xtra Pak offers. If you can spring for it, I also highly recommend upgrading to the following as I did. 1. The 49 Pak 2. Xtra Styles Pack 1 3. Xtra Styles Pack 2 Those are also on sale but will give you and additional 300+ styles including some really nice additional bluegrass styles. You would wind up with 100% of everything PG Music offers. Also, on Monday I would call them at 800-268-6272 to double check.

	kmwaters says: 12/12/2016 8:26:10 AM I would say no Andy. Not that much change. But I would check PG music website from time to time and stay on top of any updates for your version. They are good at that stuff.
