I'm having trouble getting getting chord changes in exactly the right part of the bar.

I build the song (Bill Cheatum) and it sounds right so I burn a mp3 to cd to play along with and my timing is screwed up. Or it don't match the tabs or something.

How do you determine if your backtracks are correct or not?

Or anybody have chord progression per bar for bg songs?
