Wow - this group looks dormant! Any new ideas or tips from anyone out there? I am getting ready to crank it up and make a few backup tracks for some songs I have been working on. Haven't done any from scratch. And setting up intro, endings and all that is rather new to me. Thanks to all.

	luke_warmwater says: 7/22/2013 1:20:05 PM Yes, it has been quiet...but BIAB is like oxygen to me..I couldn't live without it.. This is the way I did it: 1 Look over all the icons and click on 'new'... 2 When the new page comes up, enter the song title (right under the 'save' and 'save as' icons.) 3 Click 'Style' and highlight 'Country/folk in the left column..then go to the right column and highlight 'Jethro Bluegrass' This is the only time you have to do this step. 4 Underneath the song title, choose the key you want 5 To the right of that, choose the tempo you want 6 To the right of that, there are three numbers you need to enter. I use number 1 for the first one, 16 for the second one (98% of bluegrass tunes have 16 bars) and 40 for the third one because I want the tune to play 40 times non-stop. 7 Enter the chords you want by clicking on a bar to highlight it and typing the chord you want and hit enter. This will put the chord in the bar. For example, G, C, Dm, A7, D# etc. 8 Click 'Save'...every time you hit 'Open" , this tune will be there. 9 When I want to enter a new tune, I start by choosing 'new' from a tune that is already open. 10 At the upper left corner, click 'File'. At that menu, click 'Save song with patches and harmony.' At the menu that brings up, choose 'bass, guitar, soloist and thru' I choose these because I want bass and guitar only...you need to do this with every new tune. Always click Save when asked. 'New, Open, Save, Save as, Play and Stop' are the only icons I ever use...but there are many other things you can do with this way cool program. Regards Bruce Pritchard aka Luke Warmwater.
