Count-In clicks

From RB4picker on 1/18/2013 9:05:37 PM

I have BIAB set for the standard count-in clicks and works fine on the SGU (I think) file but when I render to wav or mp3 to burn to a cd the first two bars are silent with no clicks and the song starts with no warning.

Also, need more volumn after burned to cd. I can barely hear the backing tracks while I'm playing my banjo.

Any ideas or help appreciated!

David

I talked to tech support, they said put drums in your track. If you dont want the drums in the whole song, right click on the first bar. Go to bar settings, then to drums, mute. That will work.
For louder playback, open your mixer and adjust your volumes up. I was having these same issues and all this worked for me.

Thanks Applepicker, I'll give that a shot. I talked with tech also and said the problem was bluegrass does not inherantly have drums. I guess thats what you're saying also.

I think I would call pgmusic on this one. Toll free and usually helpful from my experiences.

Oops I see you already got a tip to call. I had the drums dilemma also. Then I learned they want more $$ for drums. I didn't particulary care for that. Luckily most bluegrass doesn't need them anyhow.

Thanks kmwaters for the help. Instead of the drums, I'm experimenting with 2 bar opening chords. We'll see how this works.
