In the past couple of years, when I go to jams, I have been seeing more and more archtops. It used to be that there was only one other person in Eastern Massachusetts, that ever brought an archtop to a jam. I’m talking form the early 1970s.

Are you guys seeing more archtops these days? If so, why do you think that is?

	Red-Ryder says: 1/28/2012 3:20:34 PM I am the only one I know of in my area,and I have met quite a few banjo pickers,but I don't get out as much as I should.I knew flatheads were more popular,but didn't realize how rare archies were when i got mine.More people realizing some of their favorite pickers played em' maybe?
