Casey Henry has me starting out with Banjo in the Hollow. I'm slowly getting the hang of it, but have to say that it's pretty cool that I'm playing a song after just two lessons. I go back tomorrow still struggling with the pull-off though.
My background is in piano and cello so the pick-instrument-specific moves throw me off, but I'm glad that my ear is still pretty true..makes the Murphy Method work really well for me. My husband is more accomplished with guitar and has translated that to banjo more fluently, but he has to use tabs for everything.
