This is a KBH banjo mute that use for thicker sized bridges. It installs on top of your banjo bridge and it produces a pleasant quiet tone for late night picking or just a different sound during the day....sounds a bit like a reso-guitar.
It's made of wood and therefore doesn't cause any scratching or damage. Easy to install and remove.
