This is a very nice time capsule Epiphone Mayfair tenor banjo. I bought this for another project that didn't take shape. The banjo is very complete and original. It's serial number of 8577 puts it around 1940 and Mayfair production numbers were only 156 total units from 1933 / 1940.
The banjo has it's original hardware, Epiphone bridge, purple lined case (the hinges are gone) and ragtime sheet music. It's a very cool little piece for someone searching for a clean old tenor banjo.
